Hi everybody! Hope you're doing well. I wanted to tell you all just how much care and handling goes into the Flowers themselves.
First we start with a superior product. Flowers are no different than anything else you buy. There are many different grades of quality available. Not all flowers or florists are the same. We buy a premium grade product because we care about what we do, our customers and providing a high level of service and quality.
Before we cut and process a single flower, we have to ensure that all the buckets are clean. We use a product called DCD to clean and disinfect all the buckets.. It's kinda like bleach but no chlorine, non toxic and about 15x the price.
We then add flower food to feed the flowers nutrients and to keep the water clean and free from contaminants
After we have our buckets set up, we can start cutting and cleaning the flowers ( removing leaves and foliage that may drop in the water )
After the flowers are cut and before they are placed in the bucket of water with solution, we "Quick Dip" them. This is a product that helps hydrate the flower and to allow the most water to reach the top of the stem.
That concludes the care and handling of the flowers once they arrive in our shop. Once the flower arrangements are created, we take another step to ensure quality and longevity. This is a product that is worth its weight in gold. It never lets us down. It's called "Crowning Glory". It's a product that seals in the moisture of the flowers, allowing them to look as good and new for longer. We mist the flowers with a spray bottle and it just makes the flowers POP.
It's a bit pricey but worth every penny. The looks, emotions and reactions when customers receive their Flowers, is priceless. It makes it all worthwhile : )
We have a great product, a great customer base and a great business. We continually reinvest in our business and look for new ways to improve, both the functionality and the process. Visit us online and see for yourselves Click here to view our Floral Arrangements
